TETHERÆ for macOS
macOS is the one platform that is both ends: an agent that lets a Mac be reached, and a native controller app for reaching your other machines from it. Capture and input both require permissions you grant once, in System Settings, at the machine.

Worth knowing
macOS ties Screen Recording permission to the exact binary that was granted it, so an agent update needs the permission granted again for the new build. System Settings may still show the toggle as on; switch it off and back on and capture resumes.
Rest mode takes two power assertions, not one. Preventing display sleep and preventing idle system sleep are separate guarantees, and the agent holds both so the machine stays reachable with the screen dark.
